AFX MiniPet Actions

 

4 Cartoon Pet Creating Actions

Introducing the first wave of AFX MiniPets!

I've been playing around with this idea for a few days, and my lovely daughter has been helping me along the way in the creation of these mini pet actions. There are 4 actions in this set (3 puppies and 1 bear) for you to use in your designs. Simply load the action and play. The final image is 300 ppi and 6x6, ready for resizing as needed. Also, I've left the final image in layers so you can recolor the elements, reposition the ears, eyes and so forth... use them as-is or as templates for your own creations.

5 Zipper Creating Actions

Here's an interesting series of actions I created for you that I thought might be of use to designers... in particular digital scrapbookers.

These 5 actions create zippers, both silver and brass... some with material and some without. My personal favorites are the Blue Jeam style zippers seen in the examples. Simply load the action set, choose and action and hit 'Play'. The actions will take care of the rest, including making the fabric!

4 Bulb Ornament Actions

It's hard to believe, but the Holidays are here already! Time to start dressing up those kits and websites with all the shiny objects you can, so I've created a few Holiday Boaubles for you to play with. There are 4 actions in this set that create Tree and Light ornaments from scratch... you simply add your own color and drag/drop them into your designs.

AFX Photoshop CS4 Paper Snowflake Actions

 

5 Snowflake Actions: 6 effects in all

Hey folks... Al here. We have been looking for an impending snowstorm to arrive today, so while waiting I was inspired to create a few paper snowflake actions. We used to make these all the time as kids with folded sheets of lined notebook paper and a pair of scizzors. Using techniques similar to those used to create the geometric pattern actions, you can easily create those nostalgic paper snowflakes. These actions create 6 different snowflake shapes and have paper textures applied. You can recolor, resize or whatever ytou like. You can also turn them into custom painting tools to dress up your winter designs and DS Kits.

New and Updated Digital Scrapbooking Actions

 

Ive a few items for you today, and I sincerely hope you enjoy them!

First up is a Button Creating action, designed to generate a button (sewing) for use in your designs. you need only open a patterned image of some sort... a 300 ppi background paper works perfectly. Run the action and it will generate a button from the center of that image, roughly 2"x2" in size that you can then place in your digital scrapbooks as embellishments.

Next on the agenda is an update to the ActionFx Overlay Creators. You can run these on any 12x12 image for fantastic overlays to grunge up or otherwise spice up your background papers, photos, what have you.

The second example (middle, to the right) shows the original image, the overlay created, an unaltered background and then the same background with the overlay applied. The overlays you create are limited only by your imagination.

Last but not least, I've created a new version of the Basket Weaving action from a few months ago. This time, instead of the final image being 4x4, 300 ppi, I've upgraded it to a 12x12 300 ppi image so it can be used as a full background page with no manipulation.

This set contains 2 actions: the original 4x4 version and the 12x12.

See the example to the lower right to get a taste of what this action is capable of.
